Welcome to the home of Mystic Muse. I’m Rachel Lyn Lochhead and love to capture the soulful essence of humans beyond all the roles and masks of how they may show up in the world. I’m inspired by humans in their aliveness, in their rawness, in their tenderness, in their eros, in their truth.
After centuries of suppression, the feminine has been rising and longs to be seen. We’ve been feeling it deep in our bones. This is an offering of remembrance, a homecoming to your essence, the dark and the light, the yin and the yang, the feminine and the masculine and the union of it all. This is an honouring of the body, your sacred vessel that traverses the plains of this sacred earth. This is an awakening to your soul expression that is waking up from its deep slumber and can no longer hide. Leaning into our edges, may we support the rise of our sisters and brothers who are remembering what they came here to do – bringing forth their soul gifts to fulfil their highest timeline in service to the collective and the planet.

At Mystic Muse, we create a portal for your most radiant, illuminated self to beam your light sunrays and dark moonbeams out into your universe. Capturing moments and magic and fragments of time to later become magnified as a transmission of true self, encouraging others to rise into their soul expanded self, unifying their inner feminine and masculine and exploring their polarities and archetypal expression along the way.
In my brand logo I want to acknowledge the symbolism behind the stars. The Pleiades, also known as the Seven Sisters, are an open star cluster located in the constellation of Taurus (my sun sign). The zodiac ruled by Venus, which represents beauty and harmony. Being Pleiadian speaks to people on a mission of awakening their own consciousness & helping others awaken theirs. They’re deeply drawn to the mystical & magical, to the healing arts, and to stepping forward with their own spiritual gifts.
This is what Mystic Muse is about. It’s about your soul emergence. Bringing your gifts to the world for planetary evolution. Allowing the feminine to rise, healing the sisterhood. Embracing each other in ways that uplift for the betterment of humanity.
The winds of change are upon us, we’re on the precipice of huge global revolutionary change. Are you showing up in your fullness, bringing all of you to the table of life to support this new paradigm as we dissolve the old world structures that no longer serve? How can we support one another in solidarity to rise?
I believe your body is the temple of your desires, hopes and dreams that expand beyond you and mirror your relationship to the earth. This is an invitation to ignite the fire in the flames of your heart and connect with how you wish to show up in this life. To surrender to the mystery, the void, the feminine way and listen to how she wishes to speak.
I see photography as a tool to communicate your truths, to evoke a feeling, a transmission of energy you wish humanity to receive in some way. Allow your body to speak in a way that is infused with the divine soul essence and codes unique to you. Listen to the call to step up, show up, and meet life at the edge.
