The Phases of a Photoshoot

1. PLANNING

Location and theme

The first consultation can be booked via the ‘BOOK NOW’ tab up above. This sets up a time for us to connect and discuss your sacred photoshoot either over the phone or by zoom.

  • You’ll be asked a series of questions when you book that helps me to get a clearer picture of where you’re at and what you’re looking for.

  • This is a chance for you to share a pinterest board or any inspiration with me if you wish.

  • Share the location you feel connected to - we work out logistics.

  • We discuss themes and archetypal energies you wish to explore or anything else that is alive for you that you wish to discuss.

2. THE DAY OF PHOTOSHOOT

Travel to location and setting intention with ritual.

  • I am based in central Auckland and allow for 30-45 mins each way to a desired location of your choice. Anything further will potentially incur additional travel costs.

  • I generally aim to get there slightly earlier than you to assess where we’ll start, best backdrops, the light, where it’s most private etc

  • The photoshoot time will be either 1,2 or 4 hours depending on what you selected.

  • We finish up with a small closing ritual. This will be a nice chance to write down any thoughts or insights that came up for you. If you wish to share your reflections I will gladly hold space for you with this piece of integration.

3. POST-PRODUCTION

Grading & editing.

  • I go away and do the part that is invisible to you. Grading and editing. This involves pouring through hundreds and hundreds of images ensuring that only the best are selected and looking their finest.

  • You will receive the first set as low-res / watermarked images for you to select your favourites.

  • If you fall in love with more than the amount of shots allocated to the photoshoot you signed up for, you will have the option to purchase additional quantities.

  • If you require specific editing / special features beyond the scope of what I would allow in my normal editing process, please be aware that this will incur additional charges.

  • Once you have selected your favourites, I will complete the editing.

4. DELIVERY

Upload to private (password protected) online personalised gallery and sent out.

  • I will set you up with your online gallery that only you can access. You can share with friends or family but they will need the passwords.

  • This online gallery allows you to download the photos in a high and low resolution for print (300dpi) and digital (72dpi) purposes.

  • Please allow 1-3 weeks for delivery of images from the day of your photoshoot.

The fun part for you is seeing your reflections. This is the part that often gets my client and I feeling very emotional in a good way. This is the part that touches my heart and soul deeply. I also love seeing how my clients start to share their images with the world and the incredible wisdom that pours through them as they connect with their true essence and wise inner knowing and offer this transmission to their audiences.
